HOW IT WORKS

SUPERVISION/COMMAND CENTER

SUPERVISION
Citadel Security’s Quality Assurance Program requires Field Inspectors to randomly check each account to insure that officers are performing their duties as specified in the post orders. Field Supervisors are assigned to all accounts. They are responsible for on-site supervision and training.

COMMAND CENTER
Senior management and dispatch services are available 24/7/365 to assist field officers as needed. Replacements can be scheduled in case of injury or illness and backup or guidance can be provided as required at any time. Field officers are always in contact with Citadel Security’s Command Center.

SUPERVISION/COMMAND CENTER

Quality Control

Citadel Security maintains ongoing quality control by adhering to the high standards of our Quality Assurance Program:

  • Field Supervisors conduct unannounced random checks on all field personnel.
  • Citadel patrol officers utilize the DEGGY™ Patrol Verification System. Officers simply touch a Deggy pen device over installed Deggy points at a client’s location. The pen collects data throughout the officers tour, verifying a fully completed patrol.
  • 24/7 manned dispatch center.
  • Officers employ voice contact with dispatch center every 30 to 60 minutes.
  • Officers uniforms include Nextel radios with GPS that identifies their locations at any time.

SCREENING/SELECTION
All potential officers are carefully pre-screened by a professional interviewer and must meet the following basic requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Consumer Affairs “Guard Registration” card
Valid “Class C” California driver’s license
Minimum of 2000 hours work experience
If an applicant meets these basic requirements, an extensive background check is completed:
Social Security number verification
Date of birth verification
Current and previous address verification
County criminal records search
Credential and license verification
Credit check
Judgments, liens and bankruptcy search
DMV “Pull Notice” review
Reference checks with past three employers

TRAINING
Citadel Security starts our officers’ careers with a rigorous and thorough training regimen. The training program is divided into three components: Company Orientation, Security Training, and On-Site Account Orientation. Those components are outlined here:
